We handle cases in Amsterdam. We establish the applicable port and customs process for the specific terminal and shipment instead of assuming that a neighbouring port's rules apply.
What handling covers
We check available port and customs statuses during the order, help coordinate inspections and handle agreed changes. With a new booking, we check whether an amendment or repeat registration is needed. We confirm any extra cost first.
When exit is confirmed
Port registration, gate-in, loading and exit from the EU are separate events. The office of exit sends its result to the office of export, and the relevant message goes to the declarant. When we handle an existing MRN, the party responsible for clearance passes the confirmation to its client.
We normally reply within 15 minutes during business hours (Monday–Friday 08:00–17:30 CET/CEST). Preparing a declaration usually takes about an hour after complete documents. Customs decisions and exit depend on the case.
