Service scope
T1 is external transit, generally for non-Union goods. It allows movement under customs supervision to a place for further formalities without collecting import charges at that stage.
We arrange T1 from ports and inland locations across Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium, including onward movements by road or rail. We confirm availability and presentation arrangements for the specific departure point, destination and cargo.
We handle transit formalities. We do not provide the transport itself.

Responsibilities under T1We tell you when the declaration has been prepared and when release for transit has been received. Once the goods are under the procedure, we provide the agreed documents or references and information needed for the onward movement.
If missing documents or a customs inspection delay processing, we share customs requirements and the handling status. Report a vehicle, route, collection date or destination change before it takes place. We check the declaration status and conditions for the change, including any involvement required from customs or other parties.
We agree the scope and period of monitoring available information in the order.
For one movement, send the departure location, destination, date and documents. For ongoing work, specify ports, typical routes, goods types and approximate monthly T1 volume. We will prepare terms and agree the first movement.

The holder of the procedure is responsible, among other things, for the required guarantee and presentation of the goods and information within the time limit set by the office of departure. Carriers and recipients who knowingly accept goods under transit also have presentation obligations.
Transit ends on proper presentation of the goods and required information; customs discharges it after comparing departure and destination data.
Pricing depends on the route, goods type and value, number of items, documents and service scope. We usually prepare the declaration in about an hour after receiving complete documents and details. If complications arise, we explain the reason and give an updated estimate. Customs release and discharge follow their own timing.
